Currently on a 3-month Europe Tour, the Stereo Boyz release “Tour to Europe”, the first song off their upcoming “Guten Tag!” mixtape. The song was written and recorded previous to their first overseas experience and gives thanks to those who made it possible, expresses the emotions an artist feels knowing one of their greatest accomplishments is about to manifest.
The visuals for “Tour to Europe” were filmed during the first weeks of the tour. More footage will follow soon.

Bio:

The Stereo Boyz consist of members Mixo (aka Applauze Beetz) and Mic Audio (aka Perfect Hell). Before becoming the super groupStereo Boyz they were a part of the “Rhyme Asylum” (1999 – 2008), a group that claimed a reputation of being one of Detroit’s most hardcore underground rap groups. Performing since a young age, the two MCs have created an undeniable stage presence, they master the ceremony, and in countless freestyle competitions The Stereo Boyz have earned the respect of every emcee they came across.

With Mixo coming from Detroit and Mic Audio from Chicago they have created a perfect fusion of the Midwest. Combining strong lyrics with catchy hooks, their sound merges the best of both worlds: clever rhymes and beats that any hip hop fan will nod their head or move their feet to.The mixtape “Sound Check Vol 1” was their first group effort and has earned praises from rap fans worldwide, as well as Mic Audios following solo project “Biblical Fearical”. The Stereo Boyz dropped their EP “Live from the Ghettoblaster” on January 22nd and their highly anticipated debut album “Radio Heads” is set to be released in the summer of 2011. But if you want real hiphop music, then you will need to dig and download this album. The title Tentatively Thinking was brought about because at first, we never intended to do an album. The chemistry was just so dope that before we knew it, we had 15 joints and then decided to go ahead and put them out. The Thinking was added to reinforce the importance of thought provoking lyrics. The Album:

The 17-track album has a noticeably darker feel than their previous release “Love Supersedes”yet it maintains their traditional jazzy soulful sound. The subject matter is very political and introspective in nature ranging from current events to spiritual matters. Having worked on the album for some time now the duo feel they have constructed a project that will hit a nerve with its listeners. Tracks like “Had Enough” and “They Coming” focus on the pressures and hardships of modern society while songs like “Heaven” take a more positive and forward-thinking stance.

The vintage hip hop sound is still the underlying force behind their music but this project is much more aggressive musically and lyrically. Awon’s delivery is firmer and Kameleon ventures into newer territory sample-wise. The result is an album hip hop heads young and old can feel.

The Album:

L PRO presents Vertigo, a collection of joints produced by native Portland producer 5th Sequence.

This record is the follow up to their EP “Equilibrium” which was released earlier this year. Equilibrium did well with its release by getting fans around the world familiar with L PRO and 5th Sequence. Both L PRO and 5th Sequence were said to bring back the template of historic veterans, Pete Rock and CL Smooth; and 5th Sequence and L PRO with their release of Equilibrium truly brought back the flavor of the golden age of hip hop.
