When I was in London two years ago, there was a music channel (like MTV when it WAS about music vidoes) that showed hip hop artists from various countries. As we sat in the cafe, we heard hip hop in so many different languages, but that beat… the BEATS were so familiar. They resonated with every bit of rhythm in my feet, hands, and head that could not stop tapping, clapping, and bobbing.
I LOVE hip hop. In ANY language! Check out hip hop in Israel and other countries. They seem to be the few who have remained true to the vision and pulse.
